PMPC - Services
Available Services Include:
-
Practice Assessment - An in-depth, on-site evaluation of your medical practice's
performance, including analysis of personnel staffing, office policies and procedures, and practice efficiency.
This assessment will diagnose the overall financial "health" of your medical practice, and provide you with a
detailed written plan of recommendations and action items.
-
Medical Records Audit - To ensure your compliance with the AMA's Evaluation and
Management Guidelines, PMPC will thoroughly evaluate patient medical records for each
physician in your practice, and present a written report of findings and recommendations to improve your
documentation compliance.
-
Coding Review - PMPC will perform a careful review of
both CPT and ICD-9 coding practices to ensure that the codes you are using match the most current CPT and ICD-9
reference volumes. The written results will indicate discontinued codes and replacement codes that can be
implemented in order to decrease the number of returned/denied insurance claims, and ultimately enhance the
financial "health" of your practice.
-
Fee Schedule Analysis - PMPC will complete a comprehensive
analysis of your current fee schedule to ensure that your fees are competitive and to aid in maximizing your
potential reimbursement.
-
Practice Management - Ongoing Practice Management services will provide you with
monthly financial and statistical reports, annual coding reviews, and fee schedule analysis. PMPC
can also facilitate strategic planning and the development of your practice mission and goals.
-
Educational Seminars - Periodically, PMPC will host
several seminars for physicians and their office staff. Program topics vary, but generally include those
that are required for licensure or state certification. See the Seminars
section on this site for more information.
